Transcript: Are you a cancer patient, suffering from painful mouth sores, due to the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, making it difficult to eat and to swallow? Here’s a smart tip about a remedy found right in your kitchen, that will soothe and heal, and relieve your pain. You can use pure, natural honey, best raw and organic, as a moistening bandage for the lining of your mouth. Honey not only is thick and will coat the raw sores, but it also has antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties. It’s also a natural humectant, which means that it helps the tissue to retain moisture. The best way to use honey is to create a bandage covering the lining of your mouth. Take about 1/2 teaspoon of honey, and use your finger, swab the entire lining of your mouth and your tongue and your gums, as many times a day as necessary to give you relief. I’m Dr. Nalini Chilkov, Cancer and Wellness Medicine Expert.
