Boost Your Immunity With Supplements
In an ideal world, you would get all of the vitamins and nutrients you need from the food that you eat. The best way for you to do that is to eat (fruits and vegetables) with the seasons. Mother nature knows best in terms of what your body needs so, follow her lead as you shop.
It won’t just benefit your immune system; it will do your bank account good as well. In-season produce will always be cheaper than the items shipped in from all over the world.
One of the vitamins we tend to experience a deficiency in is vitamin D. A lack of vitamin D increases the risk of infection so, if you don’t get a lot of sunshine or time outdoors, you might need to take supplements. So, while it’s easy to get a glut of vitamin C in your diet, vitamin D might need a bit more help.
Essential oils may also have a role to play here. Oils like tea tree and eucalyptus offer antiviral properties, while lavender is stress-relieving. You can put them in a diffuser, make a hand sanitizer with them, or add them to your bath. Every little helps.
Stay healthy and take care!
